The Crisis Centre works to promote risk reduction of crises for Maltese nationals travelling abroad. This is achieved through continuous monitoring of global situations, coordination with counterparts in EU member states and information dissemination. The Crisis Centre provides assistance to Maltese nationals by coordinating support for them when encountering crises abroad. Additionally, the Crisis Centre coordinates assistance for foreign nationals experiencing situations of crisis in Malta. The Crisis Centre is part of the Directorate for Consular Services and Maltese Living Abroad.
