PARISIO is the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism’s journal of foreign affairs.
First published in 2024 by Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg, PARISIO is an annual publication collecting incisive contributions from foreign policy experts and other protagonists on the global stage of international relations.
As a publication by the Maltese Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, PARISIO is also a showcase of Maltese excellence and know-how, from the art of diplomacy to its foreign policy positions, and of Maltese society, art and architecture, trade, the culinary arts as well as of its history.
PARISIO is led by an editorial board chaired by Permanent Secretary Christopher Cutajar as editor-in-chief, and Ambassador Pierre-Clive Agius as editor. Its editorial board members are currently Ambassador Thomas Greminger, Executive Director Geneva Centre for Security Policy; and Jukka Salovaara, Permanent State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
Contributions from Dubravka Šuica, Nasser Kamel, Prof. James Sater, and Jack Lang with an introduction from editorial board member, Ambassador Thomas Greminger, on the Mediterranean region’s elusive quest for peace in the Middle East and securing a common understanding with both north and southern flanks of the basin.
