How to get there:

Using the Underground

Metro Line A and stop at Spagna station. Upon arrival in piazza di Spagna walk straight down through Via Condotti, Via Fontanella Borghese, Piazza Nicosia. Turn to the right on to Lungotevere Marzio and upon arrival at Lungotevere Marzio turn left.

Using the Bus

Various buses departing from different areas of Rome stop right in front of the Embassy, including

Bus no. 70 leaving from Termini station, Piazza del Cinquecento

Bus no. 81 leaving from Piazza Malatesta (Prenestina area)

Bus no. 87 leaving from Largo Colli Albani (Appia area)

Bus no. 186 leaving from Piazza Porta San Giovanni (San Giovanni area and also passes by the Colosseum)

Bus no. 492 leaving from Tiburtina Station (Tiburtina area)

Bus no. 628 leaving from Piazza Baronio (Centro storico area)

From Fiumicino airport

Train Leonardo Express leaves from the train station situated inside Fiumicino Airport. Stop at Termini Station. One may either proceed by Underground as per above instructions for Line A or take Bus no. 70
