Jerome Spiteri is currently the Consul General of Malta in Morocco, based in Casablanca.

He has lived and worked in all the North African countries. He has also travelled extensively to the Middle East on several assignments by Malta Enterprise and the Ministry of Foreign and EU Affairs while in charge of the MENA Region. These comprised Commercial or Joint Commission meetings in such countries and one to one business encounters. His previous assignment was in Algeria, where he completed two tours of duty as Consul and subsequently as Commercial Attache in that country.

His prime aim in this particular term of office is to enhance the already strong relations that exist between Malta and Morocco and bring their organisations and people closer together towards mutually benficial ends and ehanced cooperation.
