On 23rd November 2022, His Excellency Clint Tanti presented his Letters of Credence as the Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to His Royal Highness Henri, Grand Duke of Luxembourg. The Credentials ceremony was held at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Following the Presentation of Credentials, Ambassador Tanti held a private audience with His Royal Highness The Grand Duke, during which both sides underlined Malta and Luxembourg’s excellent bilateral relations rooted in long-standing cooperative ties and common characteristics, as two of the smallest EU Member states. Furthermore, both the Ambassador and the Grand Duke discussed avenues to reinforce cooperation between the two countries.
The presentation of credentials was preceded by the Ambassador presenting his Copie d’Usage to H.E. Olivier Baldauff, Chief of Protocol of the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg. Moreover, Ambassador Tanti also held meetings with Col. Robert Kohnen, and Mr. Yves Arend, the Aide De Camp and the Marshall of H.R.H. The Grand Duke respectively.
Ambassador Tanti was accompanied by his spouse Mrs. Tanti, and Mr. Omar Agius, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul.
