Service Fees

In accordance with Subsidiary Legislation 35.01 ‘Fees Leviable by Government Department Regulations’ the applicable fees are:

  • Administering an oath or receiving a declaration or affirmation with or without attestation of signature - €2.00 per oath/ declaration/ affirmation

  • Affixing a signature to an exhibit referred to in an affidavit or declaration - €2.00 per affidavit/declaration

  • Authentication of certificates or documents by Maltese embassies and consulates- €25.00

  • Affixing a consular signature, and seal if required, to a declaration of existence- €2.00

  • Drawing a declaration of existence - €2.00 per declaration

  • Legalising or attesting a signature - €5.00 per legalisation/attestation

  • Uniting documents and attaching the consular seal to the fastening- €2.00

  • Affixing a seal to a document when no signature is required - €2.00

  • Registering a marriage, birth or death - €0.58 per registration

  • Making a search for an entry in the consular register of marriages, births or death - €0.58 per search

  • Furnishing a certified copy of an entry in the consular register of marriages, births or death - €0.58 per certified copy

  • Processing of documentation in relation to passport applications- €15.00 per application

  • Processing of documentation in relation to citizenship applications- €15.00 per application

  • Processing of documentation in relation to registration of residence permit applications - €10.00 per application

  • Processing of documentation in relation to registration of marriages, births and death- €5.00 per application

  • For effecting any registration not otherwise provided for - €2.00 for every agreement

  • For affixing a consular signature, and seal if required, not otherwise provided for - €5.00 for every signature and seal
