Malta and Saudi Arabia sign the Air Services Agreement

On 30th August 2015, Martin Valentino, the Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Dr. Faisal Hamad Al-Sugair, Vice-President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation representing the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed the Air Services Agreement between both countries, during the signing ceremony that took place at King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh.

The signing ceremony was attended by officials from the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia.

Following the signing of this Agreement Ambassador Valentino said that this Agreement brings the bilateral relations between the two countries even closer and on entry into force will constitute an important aspect in the further improvement of the bilateral relations in the air transport sector between Malta and Saudi Arabia. Both countries he said can now explore the potential of boosting cooperation in air transport and in establishing international air services operations, thus facilitating trade and services, investment and above all tourism between both countries.
