H.E. Claudette Abela Baldacchino presented her Letters of Credence to H.E. Petr Pavel, President of the Czech Republic, on 30 April, in Prague. During her audience with the Czech President, the President and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest for both sides.
HE Claudette Abela Baldacchino’s work visit to Czech Republic was held between 29 and 30 April 2026.
The presentation of credentials was preceded by the Ambassador presenting his Copie d’Usage to the Protocol Chief of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Ambassador Abela Baldacchino also held a meeting with Mr. Petr Klima, Deputy Director of South and Southeast European Department, and Ms. Nora Marešová, Head of the Southern Mediterranean Unit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
Throughout the visit in Prague, the Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Daniel Sammut, First Secretary at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism.
