During a work visit to Slovenia between 24 and 29 August 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Jesmond Cutajar, presented his Letters of Credence to H.E. Nataša Pirc Musar, President of the Republic of Slovenia, on 26 August 2025, at the Presidential Palace in Ljubljana.

The presentation of credentials was preceded by the Ambassador presenting his Copie d’Usage to the Protocol Chief of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia. During his visit in Ljubljana, Ambassador Cutajar met with the Head of the European Commission Representation and the Apostolic Nuncio.  He also held meetings with the President of the National Assembly and the State Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister.  Meetings were also held at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia with the State Secretary, Director General Multilateral Cooperation, Acting Director-General for European Affairs, Acting Director General for Economic, Cultural and Science Diplomacy, where current affairs, bilateral relations, and potential areas for further collaboration between Malta and Slovenia were discussed.

Throughout the visit in Slovenia, the Ambassador was accompanied by his spouse and Mr. Daniel Sammut, First Secretary at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta.
